Prepare Your Home to Receive Visitors

1. Give special attention to your bathroom. People feel more comfortable snooping the privacy of your bathroom, so make sure there’s nothing for them to criticize. plus, being in someone’s icky bathroom is just gross. So make sure that you give this one room the most intense cleaning.

2. Shoo those dust bunnies and cobwebs from the corners and around light fixtures.

3. Move your furniture to the sides of the room to create an open, uncluttered space. They also act as camouflage if you happen to miss swiping those hard to reach places.

4. Use low lighting to add a warm feel to the room and to avoid drawing attention to unwaxed or scuffed floors

5. Light a great smelling cinnamon or vanilla candle - the house will instantly feel warm and inviting.
