Ang Kalesa

The Kalesa has always been viewed as a feudalistic means of transportation brought over by the Spaniards to the Philippines some 400 years ago.

It has survived through the years, a throwback to days gone by and still serving a utilitarian purpose. The kalesa, or horse-drawn carriage, though slow, will still get you where you want to go sans the modern need for gasoline or expensive maintenance.

Slow but economical and it gets you there .. eventually. Hope you ride my kalesa with me and enjoy the laid-back adventure, Pinoy style =)
